For a parent, the diagnosis of their child’s spinal cord tumor is devastating. Dealing with the overwhelming fears and the uncertainties of such an illness can be alleviated in the company of other families who have been through a similar set of circumstances. Only another parent can understand what you are going through, and their experiences may be enlightening, and will offer the much needed support, information and comfort you require.
